Wieliczka Salt Mine

Visited Wieliczka Salt Mine that is over 700 years old. Took wooden stairs to descend 64 meters (210 feet) and then went as deep as 135 meters (443 feet). Photos include salt sculpture and salt crystal chandelier – Wieliczka, Poland

I wasn’t sure what kind of cheese it was when I ate it yesterday. It’s smoked cheese made of salted sheep milk. It had the consistency of mozzarella but a lot denser. Served with cranberry jam. Krakow, Poland
