My new hiking shoes
(I have the exact same shoes back home lol). I wear women’s size 9.5 (26.5cm) and that is a very large size for Japanese women and it is not an easy size to find here. I bought them on Amazon.com (not Amazon.co.jp) and it was actually cheaper that way! – Japan

Mount Takao, part 2
I went down Trail 1 which is the most popular trail on the mountain. It is paved all the way and there are shrines and places to eat on the trail. I hiked early to avoid heat and people so none of the shops were open yet (I started my descent at 9am) – Tokyo, Japan

Mount Takao
Hiked to the top of Mount Takao yesterday. There are several trails and these photos are from Trail 6 I took to go up. The stairs towards the end of the trail were pretty hard (383 steps). The mountain is 599m (1965ft) tall and I was able to see Mount Fuji from the top – Tokyo, Japan
