Daiso, a large 100-yen shop chain (franchise?), sells cheap but great products. They are everywhere and every store is always super clean. Yarns are my latest favorites. Making of this scarf only cost me 300 yen and the net bag took less than a skein (100 yen)!

Chopped off 31cm (12.2”) of my hair today. That is the minimum length needed for a Japanese nonprofit organization to make a wig. Shortest hair length I’ve had in a long time and it feels great! – Japan

I simply place a basket at the checkout station and it automatically scans everything in the basket. There is no need to scan each item separately. Super timesaver! – Japan

My own nukadoko (rice bran bed for fermenting vegetables)! I cheated a little and bought a package that was already cultured and ready to go. My science project is going well so far – Japan
