Morning walk to Sojiji Temple. Beautiful sky (but it was hot and humid) – Japan

One of Southern dishes I learned to cook when I lived in Georgia. It’s been a few years since I made it but it turned out pretty good.

This one is filled with black sesame paste. This 5-pack also comes with other fillings like chestnut, adzuki beans, matcha, and orange – Japan

One with chestnut and one with mango, both filled with cream. Not as sweet as you would think but they were rich! – Japan

Tried something different for lunch today. Tom Yum cold noodles – Japan

My favorite was the Pig-nose turtle (1st photo). The digital fish tank was interesting (last photo) – Kawasaki, Japan

Kakigōri (shaved ice). This one is matcha with adzuki beans – Japan

A lot of dried seafood snacks to choose from (mostly squid). I chose sakiika (shredded dried squid) – Japan

They are pretty common in Japan
