I’ve been ordering them for my parents from Washington every year and it’s been a tradition for many years (15-20 years?). But this is the first time I’m actually in Japan to receive (and taste) them. You can find bing cherries in most supermarkets now (they are called ‘American cherries’) but the tradition continues. And my cherries taste fresher and sweeter – Japan
