My quarantine at home ended at midnight. I thought l had to self-quarantine for a week so this was a nice surprise. I celebrated it with my favorite food, ramen!

Defrosted/woke up my nukadoko (rice bran bed for fermenting vegetables) that was put to sleep back in February. These zucchinis should be ready in 2 days – Japan

The entry process at Haneda Airport took almost 2 hours and a lot of walking was involved to go from one booth to another (required doc check, mandated tracking app on a smart phone check, PCR test, etc.) but there was no quarantine at a facility this time and I was able to leave the airport on the same day!

I’ve noticed that Delta’s meals have become much simpler but tastier. In addition to these 2 meals, they fed me cheese & crackers, ice cream, and a warm chocolate chip cookie during the 11.5 hour flight to Japan
