Kagami Biraki

Today was Kagami Biraki. We eat Kagami Mochi, one of New Year’s decorations on this day. The 2 tired white round portion is edible mochi (though I’m not sure if this particular decoration was real. I forgot to take a photo at home) – Japan

Ramen delivery

Not the Uber Eats type but an old-fashioned delivery by a local restaurant, and the foods come in real ceramic bowls. They later come by to pick up the bowls that are left outside the door. We’ve been ordering from this restaurant for over 30 years – Japan
