I wasn’t allowed to use public transportation from the airport so I had to hire a limo on Tuesday lol. It was way too big and fancy but it was super comfortable – Tokyo, Japan

Listed in the order they were delivered (starting with dinner). I was grateful that they fed us well balanced meals. They were cold but I have no complaints. The last photo is an example of the sheet that came with every bento – Japan

After a long 14 hour flight on Friday/Saturday, it took another 4.5 hours to officially enter Japan, test for COVID again, and be transported to a quarantine facility. The quarantine room is nice but very small, not much bigger than my van, about 15×8’. Meals are hung outside the door 3 times a day and that’s the only time I’m allowed to open the door. Sounds like a prison lol. I can finally leave this place tomorrow afternoon as long as my COVID test comes back negative again. That’s 3 nights at this facility. Then I have to be quarantined at home until the 26th. Then I’m finally free!

The last photo is Umihotaru in the middle of Tokyo Bay (it’s a highway rest area and a tourist attraction. You only see the road on one side because the other half is a long tunnel)
